BBC Operations Pty Ltd – which trades as Blow Bar Co Operations and runs salons in the Sydney CBD, Bronte and Balmain – had liquidators appointed on Monday, according to documents filed with the corporate regulator ASIC.

The news – which the company insists is the result of an internal restructure – will come as a shock to many who had frequented the company’s ritzy salons.

Blow Bar Co recently did the hair styling and make-up for Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and best friend Gemma O’Neill’s launch of their event-based business Besties.
